Ag Technology Conference features weeds, insects, diseases

Herbicide resistant weeds, new pesticide technology, best management practices for Northern Blacklands cotton, and feed directives for managing anaplasmosis in beef cattle highlight the Dec. 8 Ag Technology Conference on the Texas A&M-Commerce campus in Commerce, Texas.

The annual conference will offer five continuing education units for private, commercial, and non-commercial, applicators and certified crop advisors.

Featured speakers include  Peter Dotray, professor and Texas AgriLife Extension weed specialist; Allen Knutson, professor and Extension entomologist, Gaylon Morgan, professor and state Extension cotton specialist, and Dr. Robert Winn, veterinarian, consultant and nutritionist.
