Webinar on woody ornamentals January 18

The University of Georgia’s Center for Urban Agriculture has developed an online, live, interactive training program that allows individuals to obtain Continuing Education credits from virtually anywhere, and the Georgia Department of Agriculture does not limit the number of hours that can be acquired by webinar. All you will need is a computer with internet access and speakers.

TOPICS and SPEAKERS: Pruning Woody Ornamentals for Optimal Health, Dr. Bodie Pennisi, University of Georgia, Griffin; Troubleshooting Problems in Landscape, Mr. Bob Westerfield, University of Georgia, Griffin

DATE and TIME: January 18, 2017; 7:45 to 10:00 AM EDT (On-line via Internet)

CEU CREDIT: 2 hours categories: CAT 21 OR CAT 24

COST:

  • 1-10 participants – $10.00 per person
  • 11-20 participants – $7.50 per person
  • 21-100 participants – $5.00 per person
  • More than 100 pay a flat rate of $500

After Registration and Anytime BEFORE the day of the webinar: Go to http://gtbop.com/getting-ready/ using the computer you will use on the day of the webinar and execute the “Getting Ready Steps”.

On the MORNING OF the webinar:

  1. Whether you are watching alone or with a group you are required to sign and return a sign-in sheet to Beth Horne (bhorne@uga.edu). Everyone is required to sign-in and sign-out on a sign-in sheet. The sign-in sheet can be found at http://gtbop.com/getting-ready/
  2. Sign into Collaborate by 7:40 AM U.S. East Coast Time.

If you are watching the webinar by yourself, you MUST sign into Collaborate with your FIRST and LAST NAME (no abbreviations, nicknames, initials, etc.). We can only award CEUs if we can associate your Collaborate log-in name with your registration.

If two or more people are watching a single screen, the appointed On-Site Facilitator MUST sign into Collaborate as “Company Name hyphen Location” (e.g., “Joe’s Tree Service-Statesboro”).
