Two Agroecology Positions at Food and Agriculture Organization

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has just announced openings for two agroecology positions. The first post (IRC5153), located in the Agroecology Team, has a pollination and agrobiodiversity focus. The second (IRC5154) has a broader agroecology remit. Both report to the Ecosystems Management Team, which assembles technical specialists in sustainable agriculture, cropping systems, plant nutrition, soil health, and ecosystem services – emphasizing “agroecological approaches and practices that contribute to sustainable agricultural production systems with a particular focus on smallholder farmers.”

The positions are based at the FAO headquarters in Rome. Application deadline is January 7, 2018. Continue reading
